| The vanilla DMG racial tendency tables guide class selection and behavioral defaults by race. In Oath-Bound, that work is done by the setting’s cultural texture, the Competency Profile, and the mediated agreement at Session Zero — not by a table. A dwarf character’s inclinations emerge from who they are and where they come from, not from a racial tendency entry. |
The playable races in Oath-Bound are: human, dwarf, and halfling. Gnomes, half-elves, and half-orcs are not present as playable races. Aelthir and Telvarir Elves exist in the world but are not standard player character options — their insularity and geographic distance make them effectively unavailable without specific GM sanction.
Racial class restrictions from the vanilla DMG apply where the race is present. Racial ability adjustments do not apply. See Character Abilities.
